Step 1
Agreement and Contract

Once the transportation service agreement is finalized and signed, Production Function collaborates with the client’s Human Resources team to obtain contract employee riders’ addresses.

Step 2
Route Customization

Production Function’s staff designs customized routes based on employee locations, ensuring efficient pick-up and drop-off points within reasonable zones.

Step 3
Route Communication

Employees receive information about their designated bus numbers and pick-up locations to optimize their commuting experience.

Step 4
Real-time Coordination

Drivers maintain communication with “home base” at Production Function to ensure seamless pick-up and drop-off operations. Home base updates the client on attendance status as needed.

Step 5
End-of-Shift Procedures

After completing shifts, drivers refuel vehicles, conduct final operations and maintenance checks, and continue Department of Transportation training. Drivers attend shift change briefing before finishing the day.

Step 6
Standard Cleaning Standards

A standard full interior vehicle cleaning to meet COVID-19 protocols involves removing personal items, opening windows for ventilation, and using PPE to minimize contamination. All surfaces, including high-touch areas like door handles, steering wheels, and seatbelts, are wiped with EPA-approved disinfectants. Carpets and upholstery are vacuumed, and soft surfaces are disinfected or steam cleaned. Air vents and the cabin air filter are checked and cleaned, while windows and mirrors are polished for visibility. The vehicle is aired out for 10-15 minutes, and PPE is disposed of properly. This ensures a thoroughly sanitized, safe environment for passengers.

Production Function Story

I started my career in Human Resources at one of the largest processing plants in the United
States. Quickly, I noticed a high turnover rate among employees. After investigating, it became clear that transportation, or rather the lack thereof, was a major issue.

To tackle this problem, I got involved in community events and worked with local and state-funded programs targeting unemployment. Through interviews at the unemployment office, I
found that many residents were willing to work if they had reliable transportation.

In my last position at a major processor, there were talks about helping employees with
transportation costs to ensure timely product delivery. This experience sparked an idea.

I envisioned a business that provides both individuals and companies with reliable
transportation solutions. Our aim? To offer employees a convenient shared-ride transport service right from their doorsteps. This was designed to promote accountability and address absenteeism and high turnover rates caused by transportation issues.
